We are service providers in the field of training, staff qualification and management consultancy for the German and Swiss paper and pulp industry.

As an institution maintained by the State and industry we provide services in the following three areas:

• Vocational training and further training for paper technologists and industrial master craftsmen for paper production and converting at the papermakers' school - training centre for paper technology (public vocational school / technical college)
• Cooperation partner of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Karlsruhe providing a course of study for Bachelors of Engineering - paper technology (Sustainable Science and Technology)
• Technical further training, management training and management consultancy provided by the vocational academy Bildungsakademie Papier (BIP) im FÖP e. V.

We fulfil our statutory mission as employers' and trade associations and we are the headquarters of DIE PAPIERINDUSTRIE e. V., the paper industry's associations of Baden-Wuerttemberg (BWP), the paper industry's association of the Rhineland-Palatinate (PRP) and the paper and board industry's association of Hesse (VPH).
